Florian Frandl

Art Director, Brand Designer, Photographer.

Since July 1983, passionate about complex tasks, creative solutions, and a love for idea-driven, detail-oriented design.

In 1993, at the age of 9, became the youngest Creative Director in Austria (for a pupils newspaper layout). Shortly after, completed high school with a focus on Marketing at Handelsakademie Neumarkt Business School, subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in MultiMediaArt at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg and Graphic Design at Charles Darwin University in Australia; in 2007 successfully completed studies with a thesis titled “Corporate Flair”, focusing on holistic brand experiences.

Professional experiences include positions at MUTABOR Design in Hamburg, Alpine Marketing, and Red Bull, as well as freelance work on various campaigns for design and advertising agencies.

Since 2015, self-employed with a design studio.

I am focused on reinvigorating authentic brands with high standards, heart, soul and flow.

Brand Development

Analysis, strategy, conception, and design of outstanding visual identities, creation of dynamic brand universes, development of names, logos, key visuals, and slogans, definition of design modules for a comprehensive brand experience

Communication Design

Design of business stationery and communication tools such as folders, flyers, and mailings; posters and advertisements; editorial designs for magazines, annual reports, and books; packaging design; signage systems; exhibition stands; and showrooms
